On the Road

2026

In 2026, our On the Road theme is “One Another”. We’ll be exploring some of the “One Another” commands that are given in the New Testament.

Our keynote speaker Natalie Short grew up on a beef farm in Berry’s Creek, South Gippsland. She moved to Melbourne for university, and then with her husband Warwick and their 4 children, she lived in Niger from 2008-2021, as a missionary amongst Fulani people. This was a very hard place to live, but during this time they had the great joy of seeing the Lord grow his church and bring people to faith in Jesus as Lord. She now lives in Korumburra, with the desire to see the same thing happen in South Gippsland. Natalie works 4 days a week at Chairo Christian School, and spends the rest of the time in her week with family and friends, getting to know people through Sport, serving at Leongatha Pressy, and encouraging city people to consider cross-cultural mission or country ministry.

Nat will be speaking on 1 John 3-5, looking at the command to love one another, and how our love springs from the love that God has shown us through Jesus.

On the Road also includes an interactive workshop time. Our workshop leaders will be looking at some of the other One Another instructions; Forgive One Another, Encourage One Another and Be Humble to One Another.

We seek to encourage and equip women in the Presbyterian Church from all corners of Victoria. One of the ways we do this is by holding women’s conferences each year.

We recognise that for many women in rural and regional areas, there may be less access to quality teaching and events by and for women. So, in most years we take biblical training and encouragement ‘On the Road' and hold the same event in multiple regions across the state so that all women can be spiritually refreshed for the Christian life. Each 'On the Road' training day includes a keynote address on a relevant topic from Scripture and three practical workshops to equip women in their day-to-day Christian walk.

We also know the great blessing of gathering together en masse with women, so every five years (years ending in 5 or 0), we will gather together for one big State Conference. Our State Conferences follow a similar format to our ‘On the Road’ conferences, with one or two talks, as well as a choice of interactive workshops.

We hope you can join us for an in-person event!
